Some EHRs are only supported via the Chrome Extension integration. For this method, the scribe is not linked to any appointment - rather, you are only required to be on any empty patient note in your EHR before syncing.Documentation Index
Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.ambient.commure.com/llms.txt
Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further.
How it works:
- Open the patient’s chart in your EHR and navigate to where you would normally document (e.g., the note or encounter field).
- On that same tab, open the Commure Ambient Chrome Extension.
- Either record a new scribe under Visits, or navigate to your generated scribe under Scribes.
- Press the EHR button in the Chrome Extension to begin the sync.
⚠️ Important: The Chrome Extension needs to detect the text field it will write back to. If you’re on the wrong page, it will raise an error. Make sure you’re on the correct documentation page before syncing.
- Leave your mouse alone - do not click or multitask while the sync is running. It only takes a few seconds.
- Once complete, review the note in your EHR.
