Commure Assistant

Commure Assistant is your AI-powered assistant inside Commure Ambient. It allows you to ask medical questions, get help with documentation, and quickly find information—all without leaving the app.

What Can Commure Assistant Do?

You can use Commure Assistant to:
  • Ask general medical questions (e.g., “What are the common symptoms of strep throat?”)
  • Ask for explanations of medical terms
  • Request summaries or insights about the current scribe/note
  • Clarify clinical content in a structured format
  • Ask questions about Ambient features
Scribe-based: Commure Assistant will use context from within the generated note to answer asked questions and prompts. Remember to always verify and double check the information, as Commure Assistant can make mistakes.

New Features

“Get Started” : Access a panel of standard, recent, and frequent questions when opening a new Assistant session. Click any item to instantly populate the input bar with the selected query. Image Autocomplete Dropdown: View recent queries or autocomplete suggestions by focusing or typing in the input bar. Navigate the list using Arrow keys, Tab, or Shift+Tab, and press Enter to select an option. Image Follow-up Suggestions: A recommended question appears in the placeholder shortly after a response; press Tab to autofill the text. You can also press Enter or click Send while the input is empty to submit the suggestion immediately. How to Use Commure Assistant

  1. Tap the Commure Assistant icon on the main bar.
    • If you launch Commure Assistant from within a generated note (the button will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the scribe), it will have full context on the scribe and the patient visit.
  2. Type your question in the “Ask a medical question” box.
  3. Choose from helpful quick-suggestion tags like:
    • Common symptoms
    • Drug interactions
    • Explain terms
  4. Press the ➤ send icon to submit.
Commure Assistant responds instantly with relevant information powered by state of the art AI models.
