Text is not appearing in my EHR

  1. Ensure your cursor is placed inside a text field before starting dictation.
  2. Try clicking directly in the text field to confirm focus.
  3. Check that dictation is active (the overlay should show “Recording”).

Dictation is inaccurate

  1. Verify your microphone is selected in Audio Settings.
  2. Position your microphone 2–4 inches from your mouth.
  3. Speak at a natural pace.
  4. Add frequently misheard words to your Personal Dictionary.

Hotkey is not working

  1. Ensure Commure Dictation is running (check your system tray).
  2. Verify the hotkey is enabled in Settings > Dictation Preferences.
  3. Check for conflicts with other applications using the same key combination.
  4. Try restarting the application to refresh.

Citrix connection issues

  1. Ensure Citrix Workspace is running before launching Commure Dictation.
  2. Check the connection banner for status information.
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Citrix session.
  4. Contact your IT administrator if issues persist.
