# Voice Commands

> Complete reference for navigation, selection, editing, formatting, punctuation, and special character voice commands in Commure Dictation.

Commure Dictation recognizes voice commands for punctuation, formatting, and special characters. Simply speak the command as part of your dictation.

## Punctuation

## Navigation

| "New line"            | Insert a new line                                   |
| "Next line"           | Move to the next line, or create one if none exists |
| "New paragraph"       | Start a new paragraph                               |
| "Next field"          | Navigate to the next placeholder                    |
| "Previous field"      | Navigate to the previous placeholder                |
| "Go to beginning"     | Move the cursor to the beginning of the text        |
| "Go to end"           | Move the cursor to the end of the text              |
| "Go to start of line" | Move the cursor to the start of the current line    |
| "Go to end of line"   | Move the cursor to the end of the current line      |

## Selection

| "Select that"              | Select the last dictated word         |
| "Select previous word"     | Select the word before the cursor     |
| "Select next word"         | Select the word after the cursor      |
| "Select previous sentence" | Select the sentence before the cursor |
| "Select next sentence"     | Select the sentence after the cursor  |
| "Unselect that"            | Clear the current selection           |

## Editing

| "Scratch that"         | Delete the last dictated utterance            |
| "Delete that"          | Delete the current selection                  |
| "Delete last word"     | Delete the last dictated word                 |
| "Delete line"          | Delete the entire line at the cursor position |
| "Delete word to left"  | Delete the word to the left of the cursor     |
| "Delete word to right" | Delete the word to the right of the cursor    |
| "Delete paragraph"     | Delete the current paragraph                  |
| "Delete last sentence" | Delete the last sentence                      |
| "Undo"                 | Undo the last action or dictation             |
| "Copy that"            | Copy the current selection to the clipboard   |
| "Paste"                | Paste from the clipboard                      |
| "Start of macro"       | Move to the beginning of the active macro     |
| "End of macro"         | Move to the end of the active macro           |

## Flow Mode

| Say This     | Description                                                                                                                 |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| "Start Flow" | Starts Flow Mode — opens a dictation box so you can freely dictate all macro placeholder values in one continuous recording |
| "Flow Mode"  | Starts Flow Mode (same as "Start Flow")                                                                                     |
| "Stop Flow"  | Ends Flow Mode and automatically matches your dictation to the appropriate placeholders                                     |

## Formatting

| Say This               | Description                               |

| "Insert numbered list" | Starts a numbered list                    |
| "Insert bullet list"   | Starts a bullet list                      |
| "Insert dash list"     | Starts a dash list                        |
| "Next item"            | Adds an item to the list after a new line |
| "End list"             | Ends the current list                     |
